Two Steps into Nothingness

As always, this is a synthetic 3D world, made and rendered in e-on's Vue.
This one can be seen objectively for what it is, or it can be subjectively interpreted in several different ways. Maybe it represents someone stepping out of his comfort zone, maybe it represents someone going into an adventure into the vast unknown, maybe it represents the famous first step of a 1000 mile journey, maybe it's someone enticed by something larger than him, or maybe it simply represents a suicide. Or something else entirely different that somehow resonates in your own life experience. I'll leave that to you.
